'A SHIFT IN PERSPECTIVE'

This is an eight week course in mindfulness and spirituality taking place at St Matthew’s on Wednesday evenings. The cost is £175, (some subsidies may be available).

The aims of the course are:

- To support people in developing their own daily mindfulness practice

- To see how mindfulness can shift our perspective on life and enable us to respond from a different place

- To explore the relationship between mindfulness and spirituality

The course will be led by Tim Stead, a former vicar who trained with the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation to teaching mindfulness in both secular and faith contexts and author of ‘See Love Be – mindfulness and the spiritual life’ and ‘Mindfulness and Christian Spirituality’.

For further details, please contact Mo via the church office.

COMMUNITY GARDEN PARTY -  22ND SEPTEMBER

We are planning to hold a St Matthew's Day Garden Party in the church gardens on Sunday 22nd September from 2.30 - 4.30pm.  It will be a time to get together, invite our neighbours, share cake and play some games and music.  There is also the chance to find out more about plans to reduce our carbon footprint and raise some money.  Donations for a bookstall and a tombola are very welcome.  Please contact Carolyn Lloyd Davies or Jackie Wilderspin, via the church office, for more details.
